RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties of the Project Content Strategist include but are not limited to:

Content Management (40%)

• Main contact for phone, mail, and general email inbox (distribute/answer)
• Maintain education library/database for compliance with continuing medical education (CME) requirements, including state mandates, and evaluation reports.
• Accreditation administration (credit applications and maintaining accreditation, etc.)
• Create Marketing content for projects, programing, and events (emails, social media, webpage, etc.)

Project Coordination (40%)

• Assist in organizing, updating, and distributing educational materials and project deliverables.
• Accurately track grant activities to assist in grant reporting and administration.
• Prepare and collect documentation to support grant activities and deliverables.

Event Coordination (20%)

• Speaker management (securing speakers, letters, disclosure, honorarium payment, etc.)
• Abstract management for Family Medicine Midwest
• Event coordination for Family Medicine Interest Groups and medical student evets.
• Provide customer service to registrants and speakers, including onsite support.
• Event Registration association management software (AMS) including setup, questions, reports, badges, invoices, letters, etc.)
• Handle webinars including scheduling, attendance tracking, taking minutes, follow-up, and day-of support.
• Collect participation/evaluation data, maintain database, and send certificates to participants who complete accredited trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Two years of association management experience, nonprofits, project development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in and commitment to IAFP’s Mission (iafp.com) and vision.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to produce error-free work.
• Resourceful and self-motivated with outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for marketing and social media purposes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and projects; works proactively, takes initiative, and is self-directed.
• Advanced computer skills, including use of association management software (AMS), webinar tools (including Google, Teams, and Zoom), Adobe, Survey Monkey, Microsoft suite and Power BI, or leveraging other AI.

The Illinois Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP) is hiring a full-time Project Content Strategist who will take a strong role in supporting family medicine centric projects, campaigns, and content. This person will work closely with the project teams to execute grant deliverables and meet project goals.
