Position Summary:

The Administrative & Social Media Coordinator will provide vital support to the Executive Office of ASAE, focusing on social media management, corporate communications support, and a range of administrative and logistical tasks. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, this role requires close collaboration with the Executive Office and other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment with organizational priorities. The Coordinator will also play an important role in supporting the Association Coalition for Artificial Intelligence (ACAI), a group of association CEOs dedicated to advancing the understanding, adoption, and responsible implementation of AI technologies within the association community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Coordination:

• Enhance the social media profile of the President and CEO, develop a regular posting cadence, and monitor content for the CEO’s personal social media accounts, in addition to contributing to the association’s social media channels as needed.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Corporate Communications and the Marketing Department to ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging.
• Analyze social media performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to enhance engagement and strategy.
• Stay updated on social media trends and suggest innovative approaches to improve outreach.

2. Corporate Communications Support:

• Assist in creating, editing, and distributing internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters and staff updates.
• Coordinate website updates related to corporate communications.
• Monitor and track communication initiatives to assess their impact and effectiveness.

3. Executive Office Administrative Support:

• Assist with logistical and administrative support for the Executive Office as needed.
• Handle correspondence, maintain organized records, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.

4. Support for the Association Coalition for Artificial Intelligence (ACAI):

• Assist with the coordination of quarterly ACAI meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and communications with stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining ACAI resources such as reports, presentations, and web content.
• Support ACAI initiatives and events with administrative and logistical tasks.

5. Support for Insights as a Service (IaaS), Associations Insights Center (AIC):

• Assist with the coordination of meetings, including scheduling and communications with stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining resources such as reports, presentations, etc.

6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

• Serve as a liaison between the Executive Office, Marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment on communication initiatives.
• Facilitate the smooth flow of information and resources across teams.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and social media management tools; experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in or familiarity with AI technologies or the professional association landscape is desirable.

 Work Environment:
This position is based at the association’s headquarters and may require occasional travel or extended hours to support events and activities.
