Search underway for the Chief Executive Officer of Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). IAC is a nonprofit, nationally recognized accrediting organization. The IAC programs for accreditation are dedicated to quality improvement and patient safety and all support one common company mission: Improving health care through accreditation®.
In partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO will work to maintain the core business model while exploring growth opportunities for financial viability, providing a high-quality accreditation program, and upholding the mission and reputation of the organization. The CEO will ensure that IAC operates in a professional, legal and ethical manner, manages day-to-day operations and assures organizational stability and program quality. The individual will work closely with the Board of Directors to implement strategic goals while navigating the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
Preference is given to candidates who have an advanced degree and extensive experience with administration or association management. They will have a record of working successfully with a nationally active Board of Directors, as well as have a distinguished executive leadership record, with success in staff development. Experience in a medical or accreditation association or organization in the healthcare field is preferred. The ideal candidate is a politically sensitive leader with good strategic vision and thinking.
