Leveraging insights and data from news, social media, media relations, public information, and marketing teams to align content strategies with RSNA’s business goals and member needs.
Crafts and implements cohesive strategies to deliver impactful content across print and digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and branding.
Plays a key role in integrating marketing strategies to enhance member engagement and support organizational growth.

What you'll do:
Write and edit content, including member communications, original feature articles, biographical sketches, and other content as assigned for print and digital formats.
Prepare high-quality, accurate content that adheres to style and meets all established deadlines.
Using the project management tool Asana, maintain the RSNA News online editorial calendar and identify opportunities to promote RSNA programs and initiatives. Partner with social media, media relations, public information and marketing teams to ensure cross-collaboration on special focus issues, health awareness months and unique RSNA initiatives.
Provide editing and production assistance RSNA News print and online issues, including copy edits and graphic design project management and review.
Develop content with interactive features (videos, polls, etc.) to enhance online editions of RNSA News and Daily Bulletin. Work with social media and public information managers to ensure cross-collaboration, especially for content and interactive media related to health awareness months.
Use SEO best practices to post content to the content management system (CMS). Work with social media and marketing managers to promote RSNA-related topics and content.
Effectively manages curation of RSNA Weekly newsletter content to achieve its goal to keep members informed about news affecting their profession. Collaborate with media relations, marketing and corporate relations teams to ensure accurate and updated content.
Efficiently manage multiple projects and timelines; plan strategically to ensure all communications channels are leveraged.
Develop and maintain professional, proactive communication with internal content stakeholders, member volunteers and story sources.
Stay current on digital journalism trends and makes recommendations for best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
Minimum two years of relevant communications experience in medical, scientific or association environment with strong clip portfolio.
Superb reporting, writing skills and proofreading skills; knowledge of AP style; Excellent attention to detail and ability to think creatively and strategically.
Excellent project management skills.
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team to achieve goals
Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Ability to rapidly get up to speed on medical/scientific topics and clearly communicate information in a concise, audience-appropriate manner.
Familiarity with digital content and journalism best practices.
Experience writing content for the web, including adapting content to different social media and other channels.
Experience publishing content directly to a CMS; Sitecore experience a plus.
Proficient in Asana, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and InCopy.
