AMGA’s current national health campaign -- Rise to Immunize™ -- is a six-year initiative that aims to increase routine adult vaccination rates. This campaign engages medical groups, health systems, partners, and sponsors to achieve the collective goal of administering 30 million vaccinations by 2027.
A successful Coordinator will help coordinate and execute campaign tactics that mobilize and empower participating AMGA member organizations nationwide to achieve this goal.
Duties and responsibilities
Coordinate campaign webinars, which includes identifying potential topics, securing speakers, managing registration process, compiling PowerPoint slides, arranging pre-webinar calls with featured guests, and day-of hosting.
Upload and distribute monthly campaign newsletter; monitor bounce-backs; and update distribution list accordingly.
Conduct outreach and follow-up to campaign participants via telephone and email regarding various campaign activities and document progress.
Assist in development of reports, summaries, and presentations to sponsors, grantors, members, campaign committees, and other stakeholders.
Support research and planning for development of materials, reports, and new initiatives.
Manage a closed listserv for campaign participants and provide members with assistance when needed.
Maintain membership database with campaign-related information, including participating groups, group points of contact, etc.
Track AMGA membership changes as it relates to campaign participants and update lists and database as needed.
Implement requested changes to the campaign website; submit and track requested changes to the AMGA website.
Coordinate logistics for team’s involvement at annual AMGA conferences, including conference signage, coordinating exhibit booth area, liaising with speakers, facilitating reimbursements, compiling slides, among other activities.
Provide support for special projects as developed under the campaign.
Provide quality assurance for campaign activities (e.g., cross-checking lists, proofreading materials).
Provide administrative support including hard copy mailings, scheduling of cross-departmental meetings, external meetings, etc.
Other duties as assigned to support the National Health Campaigns team.
Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience desired
Experience conducting outreach and follow-up via phone and email
Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Follows direction closely and produces timely, error-free work
Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Ability to take on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
Experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong formatting skills
Experience working in a database to input/update data as well as extracting desired information
Proficiency in webinar (e.g., Cisco WebEx platform) CRM (e.g., Salesforce/Nimble for Salesforce) and website platforms (e.g., Kentico) desirable
