Washington, DC based association management firm seeks association professional to serve as Membership Manager for its clients. Position available immediately. The Client Membership Manager will provide member services, administration, and project management support for AMS clients.

Responsibilities
Membership Management
From application processing to new member onboarding
Committee Management/Committee Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact between committee members
Maintain accurate and current committee rosters
Oversee the organization and upkeep of committee files
Follow up regularly to ensure committee expectations are met
Maintain and expand the Member Resource Library
Marketing and Social Media Management
Work with Communications team for Content Creation & Distribution, including:
Membership, Conference and Education posts
Quarterly newsletter
Manage conference-related email blasts
Review and update website content monthly
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of five-seven years’ experience in association/non-profit management/membership role; including working with board of directors, committees and workgroups; managing multiple stakeholders
Experience leading committees/workgroups and the ability to make decisions on behalf of a client
Experience managing and implementing all aspects of a broad-spectrum project
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); including ability to present and speak in public
Outstanding customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in association management systems
Travel
This position may require 5-10% domestic travel throughout the year.
ADA Specifications
This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
