Our company provides full-service management to trade and professional associations as well as specialized services including non-profit financial management and event coordination. We are seeking a full-time Director of Standards to support our account executives for three of our trade associations.
PrimaryResponsibilities:
· ANSI Standards Development Management: liaise with standards bodies such as ANSI, ISO, NFPA, OSHA, and ASRHAE.
· Project Management: Managing the standards development process to ensure compliance with standards body requirements. Marketing the standards. Coordinate the printing and inventory management for ANSI standards, including maintaining and updating client’s online store with new versions/pricing.
· Committee Management: Liaise with and provide support to 7-10 technical committees (i.e. facilitating calls via web conferencing, taking minutes, etc.).
· Publication Coordination: Journal and standards production coordination.
· Perform general administrative support as needed and additional projects/duties as assigned.

Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree. Experience working with volunteers and non-profits a plus.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
· Past experience managing compliance to ANSI Standards development/maintenance requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.
· Ability to manage multiple projects at once and move projects ahead efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
· High degree of organization and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Exceptional customer service attitude.
· Possess a positive, team-player attitude.
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and ability to stand for 8-12 hours/day at meetings.
Travel – 5-8 times per year (2-5 days at a time) for client meetings/conferences; some international travel.
Job Location – This is predominantly a telecommuting position.
