SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Member Growth Manager is responsible for driving the recruitment and acquisition of new members and managing relationships with multi-location, enterprise members throughout their membership lifecycle. This role involves leading integrated member recruitment campaigns, overseeing membership salespeople, empowering volunteer leaders, and collaborating across departments to achieve membership growth goals. Success requires balancing direct membership sales and using prospect data to generate leads and drive recruitment across the organization.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment Campaigns: Lead and implement comprehensive member recruitment and win-back campaigns, using data-driven strategies to expand reach.
Direct Membership Sales: Engage with potential members directly, showcasing the benefits and value of joining ACCA.
Enterprise Member Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with enterprise members, providing custom solutions and exceptional service.
Sales Team Oversight: Supervise and support recruitment and win-back efforts through outsourced or inside sales teams, setting goals, providing training, and ensuring effective strategies.
Lead Generation: Collaborate with marketing and communications to generate leads and create promotional materials.
Data Management: Oversee acquisition, integration, and maintenance of prospect data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Lead Tracking: Monitor lead conversion and coach team members on tracking and managing interactions.
Information Sharing: Provide lead data and resources to sales teams, volunteers, and senior staff.
Industry Representation: Represent ACCA at industry events to promote membership and build relationships.
Cross-Promotional Initiatives: Develop campaigns in collaboration with Allied Contracting Organizations to attract new members.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require travel to industry events and conferences, up to 25% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience Level: Minimum 5 years of experience in membership growth, sales, fundraising, or marketing, with a proven track record of recruitment and relationship management. Association or nonprofit experience is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics), data analysis, and information management.
