Join a dynamic team to support independent schools across New England
The Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE) seeks a new team member to serve as Events Associate. The Events Associate assists in all aspects of event production, promotion, and audience development. The person in this position will create communications, signage, registration reports, web pages, and other materials to support our association’s member retreats, conferences, workshops, and social events.
This junior position is a strong fit for anyone in the early or beginning stages of a career in the non-profit and/or event management sector(s). Through our association’s events, you will support many of the programs and services of our organization.
The position reports directly to the Director of Professional Learning & Community Programs and works closely with a small team to deliver high-quality service to the AISNE membership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Communications
Communicate with event presenters and manage invoice process for presenter payment
Make updates regarding events on the company website using WordPress
Draft email communications promoting events
Create event surveys and prepare reports on feedback
Provide customer service to our members and event attendees, virtually and in person
Draft social media content about AISNE events for a variety of channels, including LinkedIn
Assist the Director of Professional Development & Community Programs in event planning and execution
Event Management
Act as event registrar, preparing attendance reports, processing refund requests, managing group sales, and customer service requests
Manage the inventory and delivery of event materials, such as signage, office supplies, tech equipment, etc.
Assist to ensure venue facilities are properly set up and operating efficiently.
Join the Director of Professional Development & Community Programs on site tours and all in-person events.
Process check payments for event registrations, sponsorships, and membership renewals.
REQUIREMENTS
Extraordinary organization skills and attention to detail
Experience updating a website, ideally using the WordPress content management system
Experience working with an email service provider (e.g. MailChimp)
Familiarity with CRMs or association management systems (e.g. HubSpot)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office functions
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop (preferred)
Driver’s license and car
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position must be home-based in New England as it requires attendance at 12+ in-person events across the New England region annually. Daily work is remote.
Salary range: $50-60K as commensurate with experience, plus competitive benefits.
