Job Summary:
The AMS System Manager will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a manager of the Association Management System (AMS), including facilitating maintenance, updating, and operational upkeep of the system while liaising between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. This position reports to the VP of Membership and Corporate Partnerships.
We are seeking a skilled professional with membership association experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in membership organizations or associations, member data management, system reporting, business intelligence, and project management to optimize our operations and enhance member experiences.
This is a hybrid work position. There are mandatory office days on Wednesday and one (1) other day during the week. May be required to be onsite more frequently during onboarding/training.

Primary Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis:
Manage and analyze data within our Association Management System (AMS called Altai) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Develop and maintain data health, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems
Create and optimize queries, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
Create, document, and train processes utilized within the system to facilitate the day-to-day management of the AMS system and facilitate SDFM's membership business.
Work with internal team members to deliver on business needs while demonstrating and teaching the team members to do the work within the system.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications to utilize in creating technical solutions to business problems
Create user stories, process flows, and use cases to support system enhancements
Project Management:
Lead cross-functional projects related to system enhancements, data migrations, and process improvements
Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
Identify and mitigate project risks
Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on AMS or CRM system
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system users
Create and maintain user documentation and standard operating procedures
Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience as an AMS System Manager, preferably in a membership-based organization
Proficiency in Altai (AMS) and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Experience in data analysis, SQL or other database tools, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is preferred.
1 to 2 years experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
Data analysis and visualization is a plus.
Organized with great attention to detail.
Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
Ability to adapt to change.
