The Director of Meetings & Events will work closely with the CEO/Executive Vice President and volunteer leaders to fully plan, budget, retain sponsors, and execute a robust calendar of association meetings and events. The schedule includes large-scale/signature events such as the annual Trade Show (Single day- and show local), annual awards gala, maintenance appreciation, and reverse trade show ranging in scale from 250-1,500 attendees. Additionally, they will oversee a number of smaller-scale events, such as the installation Dinner, Women's Leadership Summit, and sub-market updates ranging in a scale from 25-250+ attendees.
At least 2-3 Years of relevant experience in meetings and events planning- Required
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) Preferred
Virtual/digital meeting planning experience or relevant credentials are a plus.
Experience with virtual platforms such as Zoom (Webinars and meetings) Preferred
Experience with association management software is strongly preferred.
