Are you ready to manage the financial heartbeat of our dynamic association and its related entities (PAC, Educational Foundation, and districts)? We're looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic Financial Operations Manager to join our Glen Allen headquarters. In this pivotal role, you'll be the go-to person for maintaining accurate accounting records and providing essential administrative support.

After an initial 3-month training period, some remote work will be possible, but the role is primarily in-house.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Transactions: Record daily transactions in our accounting software.
Credit Card Transactions: Process all credit card transactions.
Accounts Receivable/Payable: Handle all accounts receivable and payable for the association, PAC, Educational Foundation, and districts.
Payroll: Record payroll aggregates to the general ledger.
Financial Reporting: Assist in monthly financial reporting, including balance sheets and income statements.
Compliance: Ensure all GAAP and regulatory compliance and monitor internal controls.
Cash Management: Update cash and account balances.
Consolidation: Assist in consolidating district and PAC financial activity with the association.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
Facility Maintenance: Coordinate regular maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds with the CEO.
Miscellaneous: Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Technology Skills
Advanced proficiency in operating computers and related software.
Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with QuickBooks Online accounting and online web banking.
Knowledge of Association Management Systems (AMS) is a plus.
Essential Skills and Certifications
QuickBooks Certification: Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
GAAP Principles: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Accounting Logic: Solid grasp of accounting logic and processes.
Timely Reconciliation: Commitment to timely reconciliation of accounts.
Accuracy: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
