The position is charged with the responsibility of providing excellent customer service to current and prospective RISE registry clinical users and serve as an advocate for clinical users with the registry’s technology vendor. This position will work directly with participating clinicians and staff to help optimize their registry experience, steward them through the registry onboarding process, and support their quality improvement and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and MIPS Value Pathway (MVP) reporting activities. Primary daily tasks will be working with RISE participants and the registry technology vendor to ensure user needs are being met, communicating important updates with registry users, and ensuring deadlines for user support are being met.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the QCDR Self-Nomination submission process, and be the primary RISE representative on all CMS-held QCDR calls and webinars to maintain the registry’s mission-critical QCDR status
Serve as the point-person for annual updates to and approval of registry dashboard(s) with the RISE technology vendor
Serve as the main point of contact and customer service provider for RISE clinical users (e.g., schedule and lead registry-related conference calls and web meetings, including registry demonstrations with clinicians and practices, address practice concerns, etc.)
Oversee and manage registry vendor interactions with RISE clinical users
Advocate on behalf of RISE clinical users with technology vendor to get their issues fixed and appropriate needs met
Consult with Sr. Manager, Registry Value for hand-off and onboarding of new RISE clinical users, as well as support for VIP and large institution practices
Report technical issues with quality measures, registry functionalities, concerns around federal reimbursement program compliance, etc. to Director, Registry Operations
Work with relevant Education department staff to update, maintain and evaluate the annual RISE Practice Improvement CME/MOC activity in compliance with ACCME requirements
Provide and/or create content for marketing and other communications to users, in coordination with the Sr. Specialist, Registry Communications
Communicate effectively with ACR members and external organizations and individuals about RISE initiatives, projects, and issues
Provide staff support for the RHIT Committee and its subcommittee(s) at the request of RISE staff and volunteer leadership
Attend the ACR’s Annual Scientific Meeting (Convergence) to promote RISE and handle responsibilities as directed.
Any other duties as assigned by the Director, Registry Operations, the Sr. Director, Registry; or Sr. Manager, Registry Value.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/ BS plus five (5) years’ experience in a related field, or MS/MA/MBA/JD plus three (3) years’ experience in a related field, or more than eight (8) years’ experience with no post-secondary degree.
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently with users, volunteers, and staff tactfully, respectfully, and
Must be a self-starter with the ability to exercise judgment in prioritizing and handling responsibilities and be efficient in simultaneously organizing numerous details related to assigned
Must be a strategic thinker with an interest in and ability to improve processes by proposing and creating efficiencies as part of a team working toward common

Knowledge of and experience with registries, health information technology, informatics, and/or medical quality of care initiatives/projects is highly Candidate must have the ability to understand relevant issues within the ACR and on a national level.
Must be proficient in using Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft applications, and Adobe
Knowledge of and experience with JIRA/Confluence and/or Google Sheets is
