The ACLI is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships & Marketing to join its team. This is a pivotal role on the Conference Development team, supporting ACLI to drive revenue with the curation, sales and management of sponsorships for conferences, webinars, and the ACLI Rising Leader Program. In addition, the Director, Strategic Partnerships & Marketing serves as the primary point of contact for the Affiliate Member program. The Director will strategize engagement and revenue expansion that align with the association’s goals. In addition, evaluate ACLI meetings/events sponsorship strategy and actively monitor industry trends, activities and other industry happenings to identify emerging opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required. The successful candidate will have a proven record of conference and sponsorship sales and strategy, marketing, and be willing to develop new business and evolve lasting business relationships. High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills required and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): and have strong digital literacy with experience or demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and implement new technology. Experience with CRM systems and marketing software as well as programs and platforms such as ActiveCampaign, Adobe, Canva, and Cvent preferred (iMIS a plus). Experience with website content management a plus. Strong time management skills, with ability to manage projects via association’s project management software Asana. Prioritize andaccomplish tasks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for accuracy. Ability to travel to select meetings and conferences as needed.
