The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) is seeking a visionary Chief Membership Officer (CMO) to join their senior executive team. This newly created role is pivotal in driving our mission to transform education through exceptional school leadership. This senior leadership role will require executive association experience, budget management of over 20 million, and large staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to maximize member value, recruitment, engagement, and satisfaction.
Oversee Membership, Communications, Marketing and Business Development functions.
Drive initiatives to deepen member engagement and loyalty.
Collaborate closely with the CEO, Engagement and Customer Care teams. The CMO leads initiatives to enhance the overall member experience, ensuring that the Association delivers exceptional value aligned with its mission, vision and strategic objectives.
Provide strategic and operational oversight for the Association’s marketing function to align with membership goals and revenue streams.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NASSP colleagues, members, industry partners, and other education associations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; CAE preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in association membership management, marketing, or a related field, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
Managing a P&L of $25 million; large staff management.
A strategic and creative thinker with a deep understanding of associations and the secondary education industry committed to member-centric innovation and evolution.
