Job Summary
We’re a membership-driven organization, which means we need a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and people-friendly team member to keep things running smoothly. This role provides critical administrative support to the Plant Certification, Plant Evaluation, Personnel Certification, and Product Listing programs. You’ll track and manage program data, coordinate logistics, support department timelines, and assist members—all while keeping our office and operations organized.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for certification-related inquiries, assisting members with applications, status updates, and troubleshooting.
Answer incoming calls and emails, ensuring professional and timely responses.
Provide administrative support to departmental staff, including scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
Assist in the production of committee materials, supporting Board and product committees.
Assist with research projects and special initiatives related to certifications and programs.
Organize and maintain files, reference materials, and program documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the member experience and find solutions.
Travel, as needed, to NPCA conventions and conferences.
Maintain accurate records for NPCA’s certification programs, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Track program deadlines, process applications, and provide timely updates to members.
Assist in coordinating plant inspections and audits, working closely with external inspection agencies.
Support the VP of Technical Services in updating contact lists for Departments of Transportation, specifiers, and regulators.
Maintain and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
