The National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to guide our mission to inspire and empower the Adult Day Services (ADS) community. This is a unique opportunity to drive the implementation of NADSA’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, lead an organization poised for growth, and shape the future of ADS nationally. As the Executive Director, you will represent NADSA in legislative discussions and policy forums, expand educational offerings, oversee the annual conference, and collaborate with a passionate Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and committed stakeholders to advance NADSA’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and NADSA staff to develop and implement strategic plans that advance the mission and vision of NADSA. • Provide forward-thinking leadership to support members’ ability to adapt to emerging trends in the ADS and healthcare sectors. • Foster innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery and organizational practices that support person-centered care.
Advocacy • Implement NADSA’s Strategic Plan, achieving the established long-term goals. • Advocate for ADS priorities at state and national levels, fostering partnerships to enhance policy and funding outcomes.
Membership Growth and Engagement • Lead strategies to grow and engage NADSA’s ADS center membership through tailored benefits, state chapters, and town halls. • Foster inclusivity and accessibility to serve providers of all models and sizes. • Harness the growth opportunities in the ADS sector to expand NADSA's reach and impact. • Work with the Board of Directors to develop strategies for recruiting and sustaining Strategic and Institutional/Academic Partners.
Annual Conference Oversight • Plan and execute NADSA’s annual conference, including program development, speaker recruitment, sponsorship acquisition, and future conference location selection. • In conjunction with the Conference Task Force, curate tracks addressing ADS challenges and opportunities, including regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and person-centered care. • Utilize the conference as a platform to showcase NADSA's leadership and drive organizational growth.
Educational and Professional Development • Drive innovative educational offerings, including virtual platforms and leadership development programs. • Expand NADSA’s role as a thought leader through collaboration with researchers, and publication of reports and white papers.
Operational and Financial Leadership • Develop and manage NADSA’s annual budget of $550,000 to ensure fiscal responsibility and growth. • Supervise and mentor a team of two full-time employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing organizational culture. • Secure additional funding through grants, partnerships, and sponsorships to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Marketing and Communication • Enhance NADSA’s visibility through strategic marketing initiatives, clear communication with members, and impactful advocacy campaigns. • Promote the value of ADS in a growing and needed field to attract new members and partners.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 7 years of senior management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or association setting. • Proven expertise in event management, membership, financial oversight, and event management. • Experience managing budgets of similar size and leading small teams. • Familiarity with ADS or related healthcare fields is highly desirable.
