This newly created position is for an Executive Director (ED) in training.  A long-term position, this individual will learn all aspects of the current ED's role under their tutelage including, but not limited to:

• Generally, the overall management, strategic direction, and decision-making for the association as directed by a Board of Directors.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the association, including financial and budget activities.
• Board support activities, including meetings, travel, coordination and online notices.
• Identifying and analyzing opportunities for member benefit enhancements.
• Maintaining strong legislative and member relationships, while forging new relationships.
• Previous government relations or legislative reviews, a plus. 
• Developing educational programs, as required by federal statutory housing program requirements.
• Member meetings and event planning.
• Development of consumer marketing material for attainable housing in today's climate.
• Verbal and written skills a must.
• Various office software, social media platforms, and technology, a plus.
