We are seeking a full-time CUSP Program Coordinator to manage customer service, exam administration, and recertification for our growing national certification program offered by the association that we manage, the Utility Safety & Operations Leadership Network (USOLN).
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent project coordination abilities, and great attention to detail. This role also requires a proactive individual who can drive solutions to enhance efficiency and support the growth of the USOLN. The Coordinator will work closely with the CUSP Program Director and report to the USOLN Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as the first point of contact for CUSP and USOLN-related questions between the hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT (Monday - Friday). Responds to all emails received in a timely manner.
Manages recertification process, including approval of all professional development submissions, sending out new digital credentials at the beginning of each month and facilitating the mailing of welcome/recertification packets.
Provides regular communication with applicants about their eligibility for the CUSP exams
Manages CUSP exam process, including exam registration and importing of exam scores
Processes payments and sends invoices for exams, membership fees, and renewal fees
Attends and participates in CUSP and USOLN-related meetings, including USOLN board meetings.
Creates USOLN member newsletters and other marketing materials to promote USOLN member benefits
Identifies subject matter experts (SMEs) for USOLN webinars, articles, and podcasts, as well as facilitating various USOLN webinars and podcasts throughout the year.
Creates USOLN social media posts and monitors USOLN and CUSP LinkedIn pages
General Responsibilities:
Participates in several key industry events throughout the year, including the iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo held twice annually.
General customer service support for both USOLN/CUSP & UBM.
Handles general UBM tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus two to three years of experience in the certification profession, either at a stand-alone certification organization or in the certification department of an individual member or trade association.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with members, volunteers, subject matter experts, and staff.
Meticulous attention to detail, as well as effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
Strong technical aptitude
Ability to prioritize and organize work-related tasks
Proximity to the Chicago area is a plus, although a remote position could be considered for a highly qualified candidate.
Salesforce (Nimble AMS) experience or similar CRM experience
ICE Credentialing Specialist Certificate or ICE-CCP certification is a plus.
