I. MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Manager, Certification and Accreditation leads the management and strategic development of NASW Credentialing and CE Approval programs. The Manager oversees all aspects of these programs, including process improvement, team management, and collaboration with key stakeholders, and volunteer committees. The Manager is also expected to stay current with, and regularly evaluate, trends in certification and accreditation best practices and assess their relevancy to NASW. Lastly, the manager is expected to keep current with State licensing regulating the Social Work profession.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while proactively taking initiative to drive projects forward and meet deadlines.
Ability to collaborate and serve or lead multi-functional project teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge:
A bachelor’s degree in business, education, nonprofit management, or a related field. A Social Work degree, when combined with relevant experience, is preferred.
Proficiency in accreditation and application submission platforms.
Knowledge of the Social Work workforce and industry.
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressive experience in the credentialing or accreditation fields.
Prior success working closely and building relationships with diverse groups of people.
