The Choice is excited to manage a direct hire search for an Executive Assistant for our client- an association that serves architects, engineers, and construction professionals with professional learning certifications.

The Executive Assistant will directly support the day-to-day needs of the CEO in addition to supporting board functions and other projects in the organization. They are seeking someone energetic with strong project management and administrative skills.
This is a hybrid position (Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays in office required). They have a beautiful, very modern office space in downtown DC.
The ideal candidate will have/will be:
At least 6 years of experience in executive support, preferably in nonprofits or membership organizations.
Previous experience supporting board functions
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Manage the CEO’s calendar and prioritize meetings aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee the executive office email, draft communications, and ensure timely responses.
Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting materials; track follow-up actions.
Support board nomination processes and onboarding for new board members.
Assist with board and membership meetings, strategic initiatives, and event logistics.
Maintain accurate records of board member terms and demographics.
Coordinate leadership award submissions, data tracking, and physical awards.
Track deadlines and deliverables for key projects.
Handle sensitive information with discretion.
Serve as the primary contact for internal staff and external stakeholders.
Foster relationships with staff, board members, and stakeholders.
Organize executive files and documents; manage expense reporting.
Candidates must be based in DMV-area and be fully available for the hybrid schedule. The office is in close walking distance to many Metro lines downtown.
