About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Standards Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of ISEA’s standards development work, ensuring compliance with ANSI essential guidelines, fostering collaboration across member volunteers and stakeholders, and advancing our mission to protect workers worldwide. What You’ll Do
Drive Standards Development
Coordinate and manage the administrative processes for developing and revising voluntary consensus standards in line with ANSI accreditation and ISEA procedures.
Track, process, and submit standards materials to ensure compliance with ANSI development guidelines.
Facilitate balloting, comment resolution, and approval processes for standards-related documents.
Maintain organized, up-to-date records of all standards development activities.
Foster Collaboration & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to ISEA-administered standards.
Collaborate with member volunteers, Product Groups, and external stakeholders to drive consensus and efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline standards-related processes and recommend improvements.
Provide Administrative Excellence
Respond to requests for standards documentation and updates in a timely manner.
Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Technical Programs and Development and other ISEA staff as needed.
Ensure workflows for standards-related projects are organized and progress smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and work history. Experience with voluntary consensus standards development or ANSI procedures is a plus.
Detail-Obsessed: Strong organizational and time-management skills with an eye for accuracy in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams); familiarity with project management tools or standards-related software is beneficial.
Proactive Problem-Solver: A self-starter with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
