ICVA is seeking Administrative Support who will be an integral member of the ICVA team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform activities related to and in support of the senior leadership team. This position is responsible for supporting Board and Committee activities, including communications, coordination with staff liaisons in preparation for virtual meetings including scheduling meetings via Zoom, drafting meeting minutes, and assistance in agenda development.
The Administrative Support will report to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Serve as an essential resource and point of contact for the senior leadership team among external and internal stakeholders, including but not limited to ICVA Board of Directors, volunteers, and meeting attendees. Use a high degree of judgement and independent decision-making in responding to all requests.
In coordination with the staff liaisons, prepare meeting agendas, and coordinate preparation and distribution of meeting materials. Prepare and distribute Board and Committee meeting minutes. Maintain official Board and Committee records and files. Follow up as needed on action items or special projects emanating from any and all Board or Committee meetings.
Read and analyze reports and/or other documents to determine significance and plan appropriate distribution.
Participate in the process of reviewing and negotiating of contracts and agreements with vendors.
Ability to travel out of the area and overnight may be expected throughout the year.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in working with non-profit organizations.
Experience working with senior leadership and Board
Knowledge of the higher education and/or assessment sector and
Experience working in assessment or membership databases, online scheduling resources, and all Microsoft programs.
Prioritize multiple deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. Well organized, detail oriented and highly professional.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
