The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving overall company growth by strategically developing and executing sales plans to acquire new customers and expand market reach.
The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Develop relationships with clients and understand their business needs through a consultative sales process
Identify opportunities where eventPower can provide solutions
Drive new business by proactively contacting existing and potential clients
Build and manage a database of leads
Maintain sales activities to meet quotas and goals
Manage client contract renewals and addendums
Recommend new business development opportunities
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through onboarding with the operational team
Comfortable with CRM technology and other software tools
Travel to prospect and support industry events and client shows, as needed
Other assigned duties
While working from your home office, expectations are that you maintain at least a 40-hour work week during standard business hours. Additional hours may be required.
