A Washington D.C. based non-profit membership organization is seeking to contract with a Outreach and Engagement Program Manager to work closely with the organization’s global thought leadership team to help manage their internal and external outreach.
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $87,500 per year, commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time; hybrid position in the office at least 2-days a week
Earliest Start Date: January 6th, 2025
Contract Term: Start date through December 31st, 2025
Core Responsibilities:
This role will act as a liaison between internal departments and outside agencies and partners to execute and measure the Global Thought Leadership team’s outreach and engagement activities.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain project plans and editorial calendars to aid in the strategic dissemination of content aligned to department goals
Manage key partner relationships and facilitate coordination with activation partners
Act as a liaison and coordinator between the Global Thought Leadership team and other internal teams on various outreach and engagement activities
Collaborate with partner/s to ensure the timely delivery of reporting designed to measure the effectiveness for all programs
Coordinate with third-party and internal teams to gain access to the data and metrics required for effective measurement reporting
Proactively uncover opportunities for process efficiencies and content consistency
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in outreach and engagement
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading sills
Strong project management and planning skills Experience with analytics to measure activation impact and success
B2B content acumen with knowledge of niche audiences; multinational corporations or governmental audience knowledge is bonus
Experience working with an agency partner or working within an agency environment
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism, or English
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient with various data and analytics platforms
