Working with the Membership Director, the Membership Associate will provide member services administration and project management support for ADSO. This includes supporting member events and activities to help expand ADSO’s membership and deliver on ADSO’s value proposition for existing members.
Organization BACKGROUND
The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) is a non-profit organization comprised of DSO member companies, several association partners and more than 180 industry partners. ADSO represents Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) before the public, policymakers, and the media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee the day-to-day member services activities
Administer and oversee member inquiries, application process, and member onboarding
Support ADSO Membership Committee
Administer membership initiatives and programs including ADSO study clubs, webinars, etc.
Oversee data quality and integrity of the membership database
Serve as project manager for various membership initiatives and activities
Manage membership portal/member facing integrations between database and website
Generate membership lists and reports as needed
Draft constituent communications and marketing materials as needed
Respond to constituents and prospective member inquires through email, telephone and web
Manage accounts receivables process with membership services and accounting team to ensure timely payment of dues
Provide logistical support to membership director on membership programs as assigned
Manage new member application and onboard new members
Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership listings, mailing lists, and additional contacts
Process new membership applications and assist with developing and providing any approved new member welcome materials
Prepare and distribute all approved correspondence and information to members
Review and maintain membership materials, including social media posts
Send membership materials to prospective members
Provide project and administrative support as needed
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of three years’ experience in member services
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in database and communications systems management
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written
Excellent customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
Ability to work both in a team environment and operate independently
TRAVEL
Travel to occasional in-person team meetings and/or annual meetings is anticipated.
ADA SPECIFICATIONS
This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
