We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Public Relations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will develop the association's brand and market strategies, create communication strategies that enhance our brand image, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong background in media relations, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with IWLA audiences.

What you will do
Execute public relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
Work creatively with internal customers to launch campaigns for association directives.
Oversee marketing outreach, via e-blast, mailings, and targeted marketing lists.
Write and oversee the production of marketing material, media, and online communications.
Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing public perception.
Oversee engaging content creation for various platforms, ensuring adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
Prepare executives for public speaking engagements, including speechwriting and presentation coaching.
Monitor media industry and business publications and serve as the point of contact for publications.
Create social media plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to post across various platforms.
Responsible for managing KPI and SEO reporting for the IWLA website.

What you will need
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or communications or a relevant specialized field of study.
Familiarity with journalism principles and media landscape.
Proficient in researching industry trends and analyzing data to inform strategies.
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Expertise in website content management, social media, and email marketing tools.
Willing to travel more than 3 weeks per year.
A great attitude and collaborative spirit
Preferred Skills
5 years as a marketing, public relations, or communications professional
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and advanced command of AP style.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, WordPress, and a willingness to learn Association Management
Previous Management Experience
Experience with CMS/AMS (Association Management Systems)
