SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Head of Education, Editorial, and Communications will lead the association’s development,
execution, and continuous improvement of program and editorial content and marketing
communications, the how and what we share with our member community. This role requires a
visionary leader who can align content and marketing strategies with organizational goals,
enhance learning opportunities for members, oversee publications that drive engagement, and
execute campaigns that increase visibility and participation. The position ensures the creation
and dissemination of high-quality, relevant, and engaging content to support the professional
growth of members. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and be responsible
for managing an internal team of professionals, a support team, industry subject matter experts,
consultants and member company volunteers. Although the association is remote, this position

• Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with subject matter
  experts, industry leaders, and internal teams to develop and deliver valuable content and
  educational offerings.
• Budget Management: Oversee the budget planning for educational initiatives and content
  development, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff and contributors, fostering a culture of
  creativity, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all educational programs and editorial content
  maintain high standards of accuracy, credibility, and compliance with relevant regulations
  and guidelines.
• Curriculum Development & Oversight: Manage the development and revision of
  curriculum materials to ensure they remain current, relevant, and impactful.
• Member Engagement & Learning Innovation: Leverage innovative learning
  methodologies, including digital platforms and interactive content, to enhance member
  engagement and accessibility.
• Strategic Content Planning: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the
  association’s mission and goals, incorporating industry trends and emerging topics.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling content for education programs, newsletters,
  press releases, blog posts, social media, and websites to effectively communicate the
  association’s value to current and prospective members.
• Editorial Content Leadership: Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of highquality
  editorial content, including articles, research reports, newsletters, and
  whitepapers to inform and engage members.
• Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing
  plan that aligns with the association’s strategic goals and enhances member engagement.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that
  promote events, initiatives, and member services.
• Social Media Management: Oversee the association’s social media presence by creating,
  curating, and scheduling posts to increase follower engagement and brand visibility.
• Brand Management: Ensure all communication materials align with the association’s
  branding and messaging guidelines.
• Event Promotion: Collaborate closely with the events team to develop promotional
  materials and strategies that enhance participation and attendance.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing
  campaigns, using data analytics tools to measure success and inform future strategies.
• Website Management: Collaborate with the Technology Manager to maintain and update
  website content, ensuring it reflects current programs and initiatives.
