Association Management Company seeks Executive Director for new client partner. This is a great chance for an upcoming association management professional looking to become an Executive Director.
The Executive Director works directly with the Board of Directors to ensure the operational success of the client association.
Serves as the "face" of the organization in the industry and public
Manages membership databases, record-keeping, reporting and other administrative tasks.
Develops and manages association website content.
Acts as primary contact for members, non-members and interested parties, responding to mail, email and telephone calls.
Develops Board and committee agendas.
Manages Meetings of the organization including in-person and virtual
Supports committees and advances projects and programs of committees.
Self-directed, flexible, team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to think strategically and use independent judgment.
Good keyboard and MS application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management skills; Dreamweaver experience a plus.
Minimum 4 years association management experience and bachelor’s degree required.
