This position will be responsible for large amounts of data to ensure accuracy for organizational use for fundraising and marketing purposes. Must be well versed in Sales Force data management in the non-profit sector. Duties include data mining, verifying entered client account information, monitoring data quality for accuracy, and running reports for basic analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Management: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Salesforce, including user management, configuration, customization, and maintenance. • Implement and manage Salesforce best practices, ensuring the platform is optimized for our business needs. • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications within Salesforce. • Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions. • Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce, including managing data migrations and deduplication processes.
Data Analysis: • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and track business goals through data-driven analysis. • Utilize data analysis to support strategic planning, sales optimization, and customer relationship management initiatives.
Project Management: • Lead and manage technical projects related to Salesforce and data analysis, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Collaboration: • Work closely with IT, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems. • Mentor and support team members in Salesforce best practices and data analysis techniques. • Facilitate training sessions for staff to enhance their understanding and use of Salesforce and data analysis tools.
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce non-profit management and data analysis. • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration. • Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, reporting, and data visualization. • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, including ETL processes. • Experience in project management with a proven track record of leading technical projects to successful completion. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Data Architect) are highly desirable. • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite. • Development experience is beneficial.
