We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop, integrate, and implement a wide range of marketing, editorial, and writing strategies to promote CMHA, its products, programs, resources, and services.
Key responsibilities include providing marketing expertise for all Association activities, including written communications, social media campaign management, video production, email campaigns, website/blog content development, and analytics.
The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and ensure all decisions are made within legal provisions and CMHA bylaws, policies, and procedures. Duties include:
Develop, create, and execute innovative multichannel marketing content and campaigns (including, but not limited to, digital marketing materials, promotions, email campaigns, e-newsletters, press releases, social media, and other online communications as needed) that help drive traffic to CMHA’s website.
Analyze, track, and monitor marketing and social media performance by campaign to assess marketing ROI. Routinely report performance metrics to stakeholders. Write, edit, create, and curate content for CMHA’s website(s), social media channels, and blog.
Develop high-impact, persuasive marketing copy and effective calls to action in campaigns that support CMHA’s products, programs, and services.
Participate in planning meetings with internal/external stakeholders and external vendors to develop short- and long-term plans for continued growth and development of CMHA’s products, programs, and services.
Maintain a content calendar to track upcoming and ongoing campaigns and assets across all media channels. Project manage and/or coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
Collaborate across departments as needed to support the strategic plan and the association.·
Support marketing efforts and other tasks for CMHA meetings, HNA, and virtual events and courses.
Propose new initiatives and ideas in strategy sessions and marketing planning meetings.
Support other projects as directed by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
The position is based in Herndon, VA where the Association employs a hybrid work environment (2 days in the office required each week).

Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, public relations, English, journalism, or a similar relevant field.
Must have 3-5 years of work experience in digital marketing, communications, marketing, website production/development, or related field required.
Social media skills required. Must keep up-to-date with trends and best practices in social media.
Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proven ability to perform in a high-visibility team environment and as a strong individual contributor, while managing multiple tasks, projects, changing priorities, and deadline pressures
Experienced with digital communication channels, including web, social media, email platforms, marketing automation systems, etc.; direct experience with Hubspot and WordPress preferred.
Desire to be a part of a dynamic team and a willingness to be a team player.
Previous trade association experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; ability to learn new technology as required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, as well as an understanding of basic HTML preferred.
Attendance at CMHA meetings/trade shows is required.
