The Vice President of Services is responsible for driving the strategic initiatives of CPAmerica’s Services and Events through the development and delivery of its programs, ultimately leading to member satisfaction and retention. The position will be responsible for both people and project management within the association.

This role is located in Gainesville, FL but may be remote depending on your experience.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing team managers within the Services department.
Evaluate direct reports as to required skills, knowledge, activities and effort and recognize proficiencies, build on competencies and coach to deficiencies.
Manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the department's performance and identify areas for improvement.
Work with executive leadership on member engagement including new member onboarding and coordination of member engagement opportunities.
Drive innovation within the department by identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to improve service delivery.
Oversee services’ programs and member sharing opportunities including discussion portals, live conferences and event agendas, webinars, and training.
Ensure the department adheres to all relevant regulations, policies, and standards such as NASBA.
Oversee events planning and implementation (~20 meetings/year) including contract negotiations, logistics, speaker agreements, meeting agendas, administration of sessions, and coordination of vendor sponsorships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, primarily managing partners, and other departments within the member firms.
Travel to association events, site visits, and related events as needed. Travel 40-55 nights per year.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role with a proven track record of success.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional executive presence, including experience with high-level professionals.
Ability to think strategically and drive results.
Proven ability to lead and manage a large team.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Proven track record in maintaining high member satisfaction and delivering exceptional member service.
Expert-level proficiency with MS Office; helpful if you have experience with Adobe and even better if you have experience with Association Management Software (AMS)
Comfortable with social media and professionally presented social profiles.
Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: professional services firms, association services, events/event management.
