The Tennessee Dental Association (TDA) seeks a communications professional to join our team. This role is key to advancing our membership strategy by promoting the Association’s programs, initiatives, and resources.
Communications Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and oversee the distribution of quality content for member emails, newsletters, press releases, and other digital and print communications.
Manage TDA website content, ensuring all items are updated and relevant to key audiences.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across all communications.
Develop social media content to engage members and followers with timely and relevant content.
Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to advance TDA's mission and goals.
Track and analyze communication efforts, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies.
Report on communication metrics, demonstrating the impact and reach of TDA's communication initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
Solicit and place advertising in various TDA publications and media, coordinating with accounting for accurate billing and payment by advertisers.
Coordinate marketing and track performance of affinity partner programs (TDA Services).
Take charge of coordinating TDA-sponsored webinars.
Collaborate with the team on the Music City Dental Conference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
A strong command of grammar and spelling, communicating with clarity and professionalism.
Proficiency in graphic design principles and software tools such as Canva.
Experience with social media platforms (e.g., X, Facebook, Instagram) and email marketing software (e.g., MailChimp).
Organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.
Flexibility to occasionally attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours.
