The National Speakers Association (NSA) is looking for a Director of Education to take our digital education to the next level. This pivotal role is part of our leadership team, responsible for creating and delivering high-quality virtual professional development programs that exceed the needs of NSA’s customers while driving engagement and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Development:
• Design and execute a comprehensive roadmap for NSA’s digital learning initiatives, including the Digital Vault and new online programs.
• Integrate emerging technologies like AI and chatbots into learning strategies to enhance user experiences and streamline content delivery.
• Help identify revenue opportunities for online learning outside the traditional membership base.
• Program Creation & Delivery:
• Develop engaging and educationally sound online learning programs using instructional design principles.
• Oversee the production and deployment of digital content in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation.
• Technology Integration:
• Utilize tools such as Zapier to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency across learning platforms.
• Manage and enhance chatbot functionality to support learner engagement and inquiry handling.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with committees, members, and internal teams to align content with organizational goals.
• Ensure alignment of all digital learning efforts with broader organizational strategies and revenue targets.
• Metrics & Evaluation:
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of online learning programs.
• Use data analytics to continuously improve learning experiences and drive strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in online learning and understanding of instructional design, with a focus on user-centered content creation.
• Proficiency in AI-driven solutions for education and learning management systems.
• Expertise with Zapier, chatbots, and other automation tools.
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and adaptability.
• Initiative and personal accountability to drive results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within a learning and development, education, or association context.
• Experience with Articulate 360, CastMagic, Descript, CrowdWisdom, AWS, and Napier are all major pluses.
• Familiarity with the needs of professional speakers or similar audiences.
