UPCEA’s Research and Consulting team is seeking a highly motivated Market Researcher. The ideal candidate for this entry-level position will possess excellent communication skills, a keen interest in understanding market trends and consumer behavior, and a talent for data storytelling and visualization. This role involves conducting comprehensive market research to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making for our clients in the higher education field. Strong collaborative skills are essential, as you will work closely with team members and stakeholders across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Overall Data Collection & Analysis:
• Assist in implementing research studies that use various methodologies, including secondary research, surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Lead secondary research efforts including meta analyses, data pulls, and list building, among others.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for clients.
• Utilize statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python) to interpret data accurately.
• Support Research Execution:
• Support the development of research plans and methodologies to address specific objectives.
• Conduct all aspects of secondary research to gather relevant information for a comprehensive and complete contextual understanding of the marketplace.
• Maintain organized and consistent communication with the Research and Consulting team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research alignment with organizational goals.
• Deliver Clear and Impactful Reporting:
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive reports and presentations aligned with UPCEA’s messaging and values.
• Develop well-constructed stories that produce logical arguments.
• Generate data visualizations to effectively convey complex information.

• Other responsibilities:

• Assist team members on high-priority projects as necessary 
• Potential for travel to UPCEA conferences and events
