The Lean Construction Institute (LCI), located in Arlington, Virginia, is currently looking to fill an open position for a Programs Support Manager. This position can be hybrid or fully remote. The Programs Support Manager will support the coordination of LCI national event details for the LCI Annual Congress and the LCI Design Forum, and will report to the Director, Program Development. Additionally, this position will assist with LCI general inquiry responses, and other support duties (Association Management System support, support of membership and webinar events).
LCI is an association with a vision to transform the design and construction industry with Lean implementation to provide more value to the end users and boost productivity. LCI has enjoyed growth in membership, in national and regional event attendance, and in education resources since its foundation in 1997. The highlight of Lean practitioners’ year is the LCI Congress, an annual five-day event which hosts more than 1,600 design and construction professionals.
Job responsibilities include:
National event support
Support successful Congress and Design Forum events
Build Congress event app
Establish the structure of the app
Obtain and upload content.
Congress signage/print plan
Review artwork provided by graphics department to ensure accuracy
Work with Arata (decorator provider)
Manage Congress presentation management system
Set up and manage
Tracking, checking information.
Preparation for Congress. Material collection and distribution.
Manage marketing toolkits for Congress speakers, exhibitors, sponsors (on website)
Congress registration support
Check registrant’s member and non-member pricing accuracy
Speaker tagging accuracy, group registrations
Support Congress video plan
Congress Content and Outreach committee member
Support marketing cluster groups on team, as needed
Providing training and managing event volunteers prior to and onsite at LCI Congress
Administrative support
Social Media
Manage responses to comments coming through social media
Vet and admit new individuals to LCI LinkedIn group

Its purpose is to transform the design and build environment through reforming production management in design, engineering and construction for capital facilities. LCI has developed the Lean Project Delivery System™ (LPDS) that applies lean principles pioneered in manufacturing to construction. LPDS tools facilitate planning and control, maximize value, and minimize waste throughout the design and construction process. LCI’s national headquarters is located in Arlington, VA.
