Develop the short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs with the key stakeholders. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Promotes and recommends organization’s educational products and services. Develop new customers, service key corporate customers and monitor the sales pipeline to achieve or exceed annual budget for educational products and services. Manages training partners in their effort to sell ISA’s educational products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and
individual recognition.
Route inbound sales leads to the most appropriate sales associate based on established procedures, protocols, and judgement.
Sell all ISA Products and services with emphasis on instructor led and distance learning training products and related certification programs through outbound sales calls meeting or exceeding annual revenue goals as established with director.
Field inbound sales calls regarding all departments’ products and services. Makes appropriate recommendations and cross-sells all departments’ products.
Travel as necessary to develop business leads, maintain relationships with customers, and close business.
Prepare training proposals for prospective clients as required.
Administer training contracts with clients and training partner including oversight of conduct of programs and continuing assessment of business and customer needs.
Administers corporate online sales through the Learning Management System (LMS).
Sell ISA certification programs and books in conjunction with other educational sales.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) and Content Management Systems
A strong working knowledge of Sales tracking software is required.
Ability to manage relationships with team members from different functional areas and professional backgrounds
Ability to pivot often and adapt quickly
TRAVEL
Some travel required, up to 20%.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Requires a minimum of ten years’ experience working in outside sales and a minimum of 5 years leading or managing a sales team.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Requires a specialized knowledge of sales and business practices and procedures, telemarketing procedures, and a working knowledge of the instrumentation and control markets.
