Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) is seeking an experienced association business development professional to join our management team. Our most successful team members have prior experience in 501(c)6 trade associations, especially those serving manufacturing industries. If you are skilled in building strong member value, branding and marketing association programs, developing industry partnerships and you have a desire to help lead a major segment of the US economy, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for!
Here at NFFS, we create innovative programs and services that directly benefit our members and industry partners. This is your opportunity to join our team and make an immediate positive impact as our Director of Business Development.

ICON is an online collaborative platform that supports defense and industrial manufacturing supply chains. Beginning January 1, 2026, ICON will transition into a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. While direct SaaS sales experience is helpful, the more important qualification is the ability to brand, market, and sell programs and services to industry users such as foundries, forges, and machine shops.
NFFS operates in a fully virtual office environment. This position is remote and home-based, with flexibility in daily scheduling. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Lead ICON commercial sales and industry engagement, focusing on growing participation among foundries, forges, and machine shops.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote ICON’s value to users and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the ICON Senior Program Manager (government/technical lead) to align business development with program objectives.
Provide customer insights to stakeholders and program developers to guide continuous improvement.
Communications & Outreach
Contribute regular written content for the NFFS and ICON newsletters to promote available programs and services.
This position is remote, with occasional travel required to represent ICON and NFFS at industry events, meetings, and conferences as needed.
Provide timely written and verbal reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Performance Expectations
Grow ICON users and achieve revenue targets.
Improve NFFS membership retention rates and increase new member acquisitions.
Expand membership engagement levels with Society programs and services.

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
Experience working in 501(c)6 trade associations or membership organizations in a business development or program management capacity.
