The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is hiring a Membership & Office Services Manager to be the central point of contact for members, subscribers, and customers—while keeping daily operations running smoothly. This role blends relationship management with key administrative and technology oversight, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Membership & Customer Service (50%): Manage registrations, renewals, onboarding, account records, and member communications. Provide timely support for order fulfillment, access issues, and publication inquiries.
Data Management & Reporting (15%): Maintain accurate membership records in the association management system (AMS). Monitor trends, demographics, and participation; build dashboards and KPI reports; and use insights to recommend strategies for engagement and growth.
Technology & Vendor Management (20%): Serve as CGA’s product owner for web applications, working with developers and IT vendors to troubleshoot, test updates, and improve functionality.
Office & Facility Operations (10%): Oversee office equipment, supplies, and communication systems while serving as the primary contact with the property manager.
Finance Support (5%): Provide limited assistance with accounts payable and support the Controller with audits and budget preparation.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in membership management, customer service, office administration, or related roles
Strong computer skills and ability to quickly master new software
Proven ability to build positive professional relationships
Ability to work in-person at CGA's McLean, Virginia office

The Compressed Gas Association (CGA), founded in 1913, is dedicated to the development and promotion of safety standards and safe practices in the industrial, medical, and food gases industry. CGA represents over 120 member companies in all facets of the industry – manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and transporters of gases, cryogenic liquids, and related products and services. Through a committee system, CGA develops technical specifications, safety standards, and training and educational materials, and works with government agencies to formulate responsible regulations and standards and to promote compliance with these regulations and standards.
