ABOUT HEALTHCARE READY
Healthcare Readyis a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a public-private partnership to avoid patient disruptions amid crises. By forging partnerships between the healthcare supply chain and government (federal, state, local), Healthcare Ready minimizes the impact of disruptions on community health and wellbeing. The organization supports private sector stakeholders within the healthcare supply chain and US government agencies to sustain the flow of lifesaving products during a crisis.
Healthcare Ready leverages unique relationships with government, nonprofit and medical supply chains to build and enhance the resiliency of communities before, during and after disasters. They support the continued provision of critical medicines to patients whose health is threatened by a severe public health emergency, such as a natural disaster, terrorist attack, or pandemic that disrupts the normal bio-pharmaceutical supply system.
Healthcare Ready does this through its role as an information-sharing and problem-solving forum for a coalition of biopharmaceutical and medical device supply system organizations; disaster relief agencies; and local/state/federal government agencies.
