Salary Range: $27.47 - $29.13 hourly (equivalent to $50-$53k a year) depending on skills and experience
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Manage State events, including creating and maintaining events in Dynamics (AMS) and webinar platforms, updating State webpages, and ensuring leaders receive appropriate promotional materials. Monitor event registration counts and collaborate with State Leaders to boost attendance as needed. Assist with evaluation surveys, identify best practices, and highlight successes during future State Leader trainings/communications. Proactively reach out to States that have not scheduled events to offer guidance and support.
Partner with the Volunteer Services team to support the Leadership Training Program, including the Annual Leadership Conference held in conjunction with RRC’s November governance meetings. Maintain the master attendee list and assist with program logistics to ensure a smooth participant experience.
Maintaining accurate volunteer leader rosters and State/Chapter records in Dynamics (AMS).
Manage the Virtual Assistant program by coordinating activities with the vendor to promote national programs and provide administrative support for State and Council-level initiatives.
Administer State Award Programs, including RRC With a Heart, State/Region Spirit Award, CRS of the Year, and State Leader of the Year. Collect applications, coordinate committee reviews, prepare recommendations, and promote award recipients in leadership communications.
Provide exceptional service to volunteer leaders by promptly responding to inquiries through the community@crs.com inbox, maintaining and updating the State Leader Facebook group, and writing timely, informative communications.
Manage billing and account payments for State-supported services, including Virtual Assistant, Constant Contact, and other platforms.
Contribute to the development of the department budget and assist State Leaders with creating and managing their State Network budgets as needed.
Identify and recommend emerging volunteer leaders and collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer engagement with broader organizational goals.
TALENTS AND CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
1-3 years of experience in an association, nonprofit, or volunteer management environment preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and responsiveness.
Customer-service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with volunteer leaders and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Suites preferred.
