The Coordinator, Membership and Business Development plays a critical role in supporting the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) by ensuring that membership engagement, chapter activities, and sponsorship commitments run smoothly. This role helps sustain PALTmed’s mission to empower compassionate and skilled clinicians deliver person-centered care in post-acute and long-term care by facilitating meaningful member experiences and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Membership & Chapters Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for members and chapter inquiries, onboarding, and ongoing support.
Manage new membership applications and renewal processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication.
Guide new members through onboarding, helping them connect with their benefits.
Assist chapter leaders in member tracking, event logistics, and local engagement initiatives.
Support membership growth by preparing outreach materials, member engagement reports, and email campaigns.
Data Management & Reporting
Assist with maintenance of accurate and organized membership, chapter, and sponsor data using PALTmed’s tools, including project management and Association Management System (AMS) platforms.
Create and develop queries and reports within the AMS to support data analysis, outreach, and performance tracking.
Develop and update dashboards and performance tracking tools to inform strategic decisions.
Sponsorship & Business Development
Serve as the primary contact for sponsors, answering questions and ensuring timely delivery of contracted benefits.
Track sponsor deliverables, deadlines, and reporting needs.
Assist in developing sponsorship proposals, processes, and tracking partnership opportunities.
Help coordinate sponsor involvement in events, webinars, and other marketing opportunities.
Events & Logistics
Support logistics for PALTmed’s membership- and sponsor-related events, both virtual and in-person.
Help plan and execute chapter meetings, webinars, and industry briefings.
Ensure a high-quality experience for attendees, members, and partners.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of experience in membership services, chapter relations, business development, or similar roles. Preferably within a healthcare association, or nonprofit setting.
Familiarity with AMS project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset.
Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Experience working with healthcare professionals or in medical associations is strongly preferred.
Data-driven and tech-savvy; comfortable generating reports and tracking performance.
Team player who thrives in a remote collaborative, mission-focused environment.
Work Environment and Travel
Fully remote role with regular virtual collaboration.
Occasional travel for the annual conference and chapter events.
Primarily computer-based, managing digital records and online communications.
