As the Membership Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the NAEA member experience. You will:

Oversee Membership Operations

• Manage daily membership processes, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on membership policies, database functions, and community platforms.
• Collaborate with IT to optimize internal membership systems and improve user experience.

Drive Membership Growth & Retention

• Assist in planning and executing recruitment and retention campaigns.
• Manage the new member onboarding process and coordinate renewal communications.
• Represent NAEA at recruitment events and oversee event-related membership activities.

Analyze Data & Optimize Strategies

• Track key membership metrics such as acquisition, retention, and engagement trends.
• Provide insights and reports to guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and support internal teams with membership-related reports and lists.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a member-focused environment and brings:

• 3+ years of professional experience in membership operations or a related field.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills to engage with members, volunteers, and other team members effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret membership data and drive improvements.
• Proficiency in databases/Association Management Systems (AMS) (Salesforce and/or Fonteva experience a plus!).
• Tech-savviness in data analysis tools.
