If you’re looking for a high profile meaningful legal role in an essential industry, we may have your next opportunity.
The American Staffing Association represents the country’s staffing and recruiting firms. We connect people with job opportunities and create better lives and a better economy. We're seeking a dynamic, personable, and talented Chief Legal Officer to join our innovative, dedicated, and collegial ROCK STAR legal and public affairs team. As a key player in our trade association, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on a cutting-edge industry and contribute to its continued success.
You’ll advocate the staffing industry’s position on labor, employment, artificial intelligence, tax, benefits, and other public policy issues before courts, legislatures, and regulatory bodies. You will have the opportunity to analyze existing laws and proposed legislation and regulations and prepare testimony, issue papers, memoranda, briefs, and talking points in support of the industry's positions.
You can serve as a media spokesperson, and you’ll engage with ASA’s skill-building, opportunity-finding, and job-creating staffing firm members on labor and employment issues. In addition, you will advise ASA on internal legal issues pertaining to employment, intellectual property, antitrust, and other laws.
We’re biased, but we think this is a tremendous opportunity. We offer amazing work-life balance as well as a hybrid schedule, including both remote work and in-person at ASA’s offices in the historic Old Town section of Alexandria, Virginia.
Please submit cover letter and resume to Bob Rudisin, Chief Human Resources Officer, at brudisin@americanstaffing.net.
