Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Corporate Travel and Housing is responsible for coordinating travel logistics through the official ADA travel management company (TMC), for the Officers, Board of Trustees (BOT) members, volunteers and ADA staff. This position also over sees the Chicago, Boston and DC hotel programs and works in conjunction with the Events and Experiences Team to arrange for room blocks for ADA business meetings.
They will also manage recommending and or securing hotels for smaller meetings without room blocks and the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) site visits. The role involves managing approximately $2 million in annual air travel and over 5,000 hotel room nights.
Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years experience in corporate travel management or administrative experience managing vendor relationships; or 9 years experience in lieu of degree
Some event or meeting planning experience
Familiarity with travel booking tools, expense reporting systems, and travel management software
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, including last-minute changes, under tight deadlines
Strong organizational, project management and process development skills

Travel to annual meeting and House of Delegates meeting
Position may require before or after hours work, weekend work, may require more than the standard number of hours of work within a workweek

Experience with managing budgets and tracking expenses
Experience with external travel vendors and hotel management
Degree in hospitality, travel, events management, business administration or related field
