The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) education specialist coordinates education programs, products, and projects and ensures data integrity within the organization. These duties include building working relationships with HPNA key constituents, and implementing education projects, and education development initiatives.

THIS POSITION IS 0.8 FTE (32 HOURS/WEEK).
Responsibilities:
Provides coordination to achieve goals/objectives of assigned HPNA education projects effectively and efficiently.
Provides liaison support to build and refresh education products in the Learning Management System and cross-departmental communication for optimal collaboration
Coordination of consultants, subject matter experts, and vendors. Ensures accountability and holds SMEs and consultants to contract commitments. Facilitates the processing of required forms associated with educational SME contracts and project related initiatives.
Serves as a next level customer service contact for HPNA membership to solve issues and provide an excellent customer experience
Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in office, corporate, and /or non-profit administration.
Undergraduate degree in education, business, or health professions or equivalent education & experience
Experience in project planning and implementation
Database management (LMS, iMIS) preferred
Strong communication skills for both in person and virtual meetings and the ability to work as part of a virtual team.
