The Education & Conferences Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs and conferences for the organization. This role assists in the delivery of online and in-person education, maintains the Learning Management System (PATH LMS), and ensures that all events and programs meet high standards of quality and user satisfaction. The coordinator works collaboratively with volunteers, presenters, and staff to ensure seamless delivery of education and training initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Coordination:
Assist in the planning and delivery of education programs, including scheduling, registration, material preparation, and evaluations.
Coordinate NASN’s live and bespoke educational programs, including maintaining presenter schedules, managing training events, and facilitating communication with host organizations.
Assist with tracking educational content expiry dates, content gaps and emerging educational needs of school nurses.
Learning Management System (LMS) and Other Platform Support:
Maintain and update the Learning Management System (PATH LMS).
Utilize Go to Webinar software for webinars.
Provide technical support to speakers and attendees, ensuring smooth navigation of the LMS and troubleshooting issues.
Manage online education product creation, registration, and participant access.
Logistical and Event Support:
Provide logistical support for national conferences, training sessions, and other educational events and meetings.
Coordinate volunteers, speakers, and subject matter experts for education programs.
Oversee the preparation and distribution of speaker training materials; conduct speaker training sessions.
Compliance, Evaluation, and Reporting:
Manage evaluations and compile reports using tools like Survey Monkey and Qualtrics.
Support the ANCC Accredited Provider Program Director in reaccreditation activities, including the maintenance of continuing education tracking and alignment across multiple systems.
Analyze data to assess program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Communication and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely communication with volunteers, presenters, and other stakeholders.
Ensure complete documentation of all program and event activities.
Customer Service:
Provide support to users by addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring access to necessary materials.
Deliver a high level of customer service to enhance participant satisfaction.
Other Responsibilities:
Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in adult education and training coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Education & Conferences Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in education, meeting, or training coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Experience with association management software and online training tools.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, such as PATH LMS.
Knowledge and experience with ANCC continuing education requirements.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Environment:Remote work setting with occasional interruptions.
Physical:Ability to perform sedentary work, including prolonged sitting or standing, occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting light to moderate weights. Frequent use of technology and travel within the U.S. 1-2 times per year.
Vision and Hearing:Normal visual and auditory ranges, with or without correction.
