The Account Executive reports to the CEO of Nonprofit Resources. Account Executives provide leadership and direction to association(s)s and their designated staff team(s), and collaborate with departments. The Account Executive is responsible for accomplishing the duties listed below. Compensation for this position varies by experience level, education and credentialing, and tenure.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Informs association(s) leadership on all aspects of the association(s), including industry trends.
Participates in leadership meetings, in person, and virtually.
Assists in the development and execution of the strategic plan according to the scope of work.
Organizes team to execute the association(s)'s mission, vision, and objectives.
Advises on and develops policies, procedures, and programs as established by the Board.
Signs and executes contracts and commitments authorized by the Board or established policies.
Plans, supervises, and executes association(s) activities in cooperation with committees, and reports to the Board as needed.
Recommends, monitors, and operates within an annual budget, working with internal and external finance teams to produce monthly financial reports, bill payments, and revenue processing.
Supervises the production of communication according to the scope of work.
Plans, supervises, and executes membership programs to achieve membership goals.
Ensures secure storage for all files, legal and historic documents, membership, and other databases.
Supervises and participates in a variety of member communications.
Maintains and oversees communication with the Board, committees, and members regarding association(s) activities and projects.
Plans and supervises staff support to Committee Chairs and Committees
Serves as team leader, coordinating with support staff, such as finance, graphics, administration, and marketing.
Understands and consistently meets or exceeds deadlines.
Serves as the primary liaison for day-to-day matters between the association(s) and Nonprofit Resources.
Continually upgrades skills and knowledge to manage the association(s)(s) effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, nonprofit management, or a related discipline and a minimum of two to three years working for or with association(s).
A willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Account Management experience working for a nonprofit or professional association(s).
Experience overseeing budgets and expenses.
Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Previous experience using AMS software and/or association(s)CRM systems.
