This is a hybrid role with a mandatory three set days in the office, located in central Washington, DC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
Develop, schedule, and oversee social media content across platforms to enhance engagement and grow audiences.
Monitor and moderate interactions on social channels, responding to inquiries and fostering a vibrant online community.
Collect and analyze social media performance metrics, optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and making informed recommendations on continual improvements.
Engages with social media influencers and key industry VIPs.
Develops conference social media schedules.
Blog Creation and Newsletter Maintenance
Draft, edit and publish blog posts, weekly newsletters (e.g., Rasa SIOR), and other content that informs and engages our audience. Most content is written by others, with some internally created content expected.
Maintain the blog and newsletter schedules and work closely with the team on content integration and editorial planning.
Creative Brand Asset Development
Design high-quality visuals for social media, email campaigns, flyers, and presentations using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Organize and maintain logos, templates, and other visual assets.
Coordinate the editing or creation of video content to support various initiatives.
Website and SEO Optimization
Update and maintain website content for all sites, public and members only (MySIOR), using Sitefinity or similar CMS platforms.
Implement SEO strategies to optimize blogs, articles, and website pages for search engines.
Conduct A/B testing on website layouts and campaigns to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
Analytics, Data Collection and Reporting
Track and analyze website and social media metrics, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
Collect data for top deals, transaction awards, and other performance benchmarks to showcase success stories.
Community Engagement
Moderate and manage the MySIOR platform, ensuring timely and professional responses to member interactions.
Build meaningful relationships with the audience and stakeholders through thoughtful engagement strategies.
Advertising and Partner Benefits Asset Management
Coordinate advertising efforts, including the schedule maintenance, collection, and posting of appropriate paid, sponsored, or internal placements, ensuring they also align with brand objectives.
Additional Duties
Manage forms, surveys, and other tools to gather valuable audience feedback and insights.
Create and manage internal and external PowerPoint presentations.
Update promotional flyers and other marketing materials to reflect current messaging.
Assist with email writing and production as needed.
Assist with list management as needed.
Assures accuracy of published materials, including correct spelling and grammar.
General proofing assistance for other staff as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in digital marketing, social media coordination, or a similar role.
Technical Proficiency
Experience with social media posting and analytic platforms required.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Sitefinity (or similar CMS), and AMS platforms required.
Familiarity with SEO tools, Google Analytics, and data visualization platforms is required.
Strong graphic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PC Platforms, and HTML coding experience preferred.
